Jean philips, 27 years old, born in the south of cologne germany isn’t an unknown face anymore. when he decided to drive to frankfurt´s pulse club every 2 nd weekend a month, nobody expected this club will ever be one of the top locations in frankfurt’s nightlife.

Just 3 years later the "pulse" club is a well known and steady size in the centre of frankfurt nightlife and is visited by so many interesting people from all over germany. even the scene magazine prinz sayd, that the pulse club is one of the top 3 of frankfurt’s best locations and not only at the weekends.

jean philips who’s musical orientation is definitely in the electric area, he knows exactly how to project the moods of his records to the dancefloor of a club or to the space of a lounge, gallery or bar.

In the middle of 2005 j.p. could earn the first time the fruits of his 3 year studies, wich he finished as an audio engineer with diploma.

j.p. produced his debut single for blue fin records (wich was licenced for various compilations, like

john aquaviva´s electro delux vol.1 compilation) and entered several dj charts right away, just a few months before a remix was released for the cult label sounds-good-records, on wich the clubsmasher saints & sinners – pushin to hard could be found as well.

In his protect–remix for roc "ma bangman" j.p. transposed his love for progressiv house, "bangman" entered the english house charts before the track was official released and placed itself in the top 3 of globetrotter charts of andre nalin.

J.P. worked as an Audio-Engineer for The Beauty and the Beast Musical (Germany) and produced Music for a lot TV-Ad's.
